Shasha Brown

Shasha Brown currently serves as the Director of Basketball Operations and Player Development at the University of California, Berkeley, since August 2023. Prior experience includes an Assistant Basketball Coach position at Long Island University and a General Manager/Director of Basketball Operations role at Vanderbilt University. Shasha has also worked for the NBA as a Youth Development Coordinator and led initiatives for the Jr. NBA World Championship. Additional roles include Director of Hoop Group Elite and Men's Basketball Graduate Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University. Shasha's coaching experience is complemented by a background in sports management, highlighted by leadership roles in various educational institutions and the organization of player development events. Education includes a Master of Education in Sports Management from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Wesleyan University.
