Cindy Behmer

Dr. Cindy Behmer is a Lecturer in Music specializing in Oboe at both the University of California, Davis, and California State University, Sacramento, where instruction in oboe and English horn is provided. With extensive experience as a freelance musician since 1996, Cindy has also performed with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra and served as a music educator at BASIS Tucson Lower School, teaching various music appreciation and performance classes. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Arizona, instruction included courses on music in world cultures and the history of American rock and pop, showcasing a broad expertise in music education. Cindy holds a DMA in Music from the University of Arizona and a degree from California State University-Sacramento.
