Lawrence Bogad

Lawrence Bogad is a Full Professor of political performance at UC Davis, a position held since 2004. With a notable academic background that includes a PhD in Performance Studies from Northwestern University and a BA in History from the University of Pennsylvania, Lawrence has also received various fellowships, such as the University Fellowship for "Humanities and Conflict" at Arizona State University, the "Art and Controversy" Teaching Fellowship at Carnegie Mellon University, and the "Arts and Publics" Teaching Fellowship at Northwestern Humanities Institute. Prior to current academic roles, Lawrence served as a professor with the performance group Billionaires For Bush from 2000 to 2008, where the persona Ollie Gark was utilized.
