Lauren Teetor Gibson is a highly experienced healthcare professional with a comprehensive background in nursing and patient safety. Currently serving as a Performance Improvement Advisor in Patient Safety & Quality at UCI Health since January 2011, Lauren has held multiple roles including Clinical Documentation Specialist, Practice Manager, and Clinical Nurse Supervisor in Surgical Specialties. Formerly, Lauren worked as a Nurse Navigator specializing in Neurosurgery and Neuro-oncology and started the career as a Registered Nurse in the Telemetry/Oncology Unit at UCI Medical Center. Prior to this, Lauren gained experience in administration and business development at UC Irvine Medical Center from July 2004 to December 2009. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Science from Concordia University-Irvine (2010-2011) and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from UC Irvine (2000-2004).
