Alexiy Buynitsky

Alexiy Buynitsky is a highly skilled researcher and engineer specializing in robotics and machine learning. Currently serving as a Graduate Researcher at the UCSD Wang Lab, Alexiy is focusing on dexterous manipulation. Previous experience includes roles as an ML Engineering Intern at Persona AI Inc., where improvements were made to humanoid robot policies and data processing pipelines, and as a Graduate Robotics Researcher at Purdue University's CoMMA Lab, achieving significant advancements in point-to-point motion planning. Alexiy has also interned at SpaceX, Google, and various other organizations, contributing to advancements in robotics, mechatronics, and AI. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Purdue University.
