Anthony King

Anthony King, APR, serves as the Assistant Dean of Strategic Engagement within the School of Arts and Humanities at UC San Diego since October 2013, overseeing multiple departments and institutes. King possesses expertise in strategic planning, internal communication, leadership, media relations, and equity, diversity, and inclusion. Previous roles at UC San Diego include Director of Communications and Associate Director of Communications. Additionally, King has experience in journalism as Editor for San Diego Community News Network. Holding a Master of Arts in International Relations from Alliant International University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Washington, King has demonstrated a commitment to professional development and community engagement throughout a diverse career.
