Daniel Carlin

Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at UC San Diego

Daniel Carlin is an experienced bioinformatics professional currently serving as an Assistant Project Scientist at UC San Diego since January 2015, where involvement includes work in Trey Ideker's Lab and collaboration with the NDEx team. Previously, Daniel held the position of Senior Principal Scientist at Data4Cure, Inc., contributing to the development of analysis for a bioinformatics SaaS from November 2020 to March 2021. Prior to these roles, Daniel completed a postdoctoral fellowship at UC San Diego Health and gained valuable experience as a Graduate Research Fellow and Graduate Student at UC Santa Cruz, culminating in a PhD in Bioinformatics. Daniel's educational background includes an undergraduate degree from Duke University.
