Julio Baez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in biotechnology and bioprocessing, serving as an Industrial Advisor and Consultant at the University of California San Diego since 1999, along with a role as a lecturer in biotechnology. Baez has a strong track record in leading teams to develop innovative bioprocesses for biopharmaceuticals, biofuels, and proteins across multiple organizations, including FibroGen and Monsanto, where significant advancements in recombinant proteins were achieved.
