Rishabh Thapliyal

Rishabh Thapliyal is a skilled data scientist and researcher with a strong academic background in machine learning and data science. Currently pursuing a Master of Science at UC San Diego, Rishabh has held positions such as Graduate Teaching Assistant for courses in Data Science in Practice and Electricity & Magnetism Lab. Additional experience includes a role as a Graduate Student Researcher at the San Diego Supercomputer Center focusing on multi-modal LLMs and generative AI. Rishabh interned at Qualcomm, developing an agentic application for user interaction with databases, and previously worked at Walmart Global Tech, achieving advancements in generative AI and large language models. Rishabh holds a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, with a minor in AI and Data Science.
