Gregg Edgar

Gregg Edgar is a seasoned communications professional and leader with extensive experience in the lottery and gaming industry. Currently serving as the Continuous Improvement Leader at the University of California, Santa Cruz since February 2023, Edgar also owns Edgar Strategic Communications, a consultancy launched in January 2014 that specializes in innovative product development and communications strategies for the lottery sector. Significant past roles include Executive Director of the Arizona Lottery, overseeing strategic operations and a $167 million budget, and various leadership positions within the Multi-State Lottery Association and the North American Association of State & Provincial Lotteries, such as Chairman of the Business and Product Development Committee. Edgar previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Gordon C. James Public Relations, contributing to critical operations and communications strategies across various initiatives. Edgar holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Arizona State University.
