Abhaya Shankar

Abhaya Shankar has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. In 2022, they became the CEO and Wholetime Director of UCAL Fuel Systems Ltd. Prior to that, they were a Non-Executive Director at the same company from July 2022 to February 2023. Abhaya also served as an Independent Director at Aparna Enterprises Limited and Sri Havisha Hospitality and Infrastructure Limited starting from 2020. In addition, they were a Member of the Board of Advisors at BraKetLab and an Advisor at Aiara Inc., both in 2020. Abhaya Shankar has also worked as the Managing Director of Raygan Finvest Pvt. Ltd. since November 2015, providing management consultancy and leadership coaching. Furthermore, they have held positions such as Strategic Advisor at Bloqcube Inc. from December 2020 to November 2021, Chief Executive Officer at MTAR Technologies Private Limited from June 2019 to May 2020, and Group Advisor and Group President at Ampersand Group from January 2017 to June 2019. Before that, they were the CEO at Kisan Mouldings Ltd. from December 2014 to November 2015, where they successfully turned around the company's performance.

Abhaya Shankar obtained an MBA with a focus on Marketing, Finance, and Operations from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta between 1979 to 1981. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, during the same period from 1974 to 1979. In terms of additional certifications, Abhaya Shankar has completed the Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centric Executive Leadership Coaching program from Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coaching. Abhaya has also completed various courses including the Mckinsey Leadership Development Course, two-day courses on Strategy and Change Management from McKinsey & Company.
