Andreas Schlein-Andersen is an experienced leader in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on immunology operations. Currently serving as the Head of Immunology Operations Intercontinental at UCB since July 2020, Andreas oversees the immunology portfolio across Austria, Switzerland, BeNeLux, and the Nordics, managing a team of over 100 people and generating significant revenue exceeding €100 million. Prior to UCB, Andreas held various leadership roles at Novartis from 2011 to July 2020, including Head of Immunology for Northern Europe and IHD Head in Sweden. Previous experience includes key positions at Merck/Schering-Plough and Schering Plough, where Andreas contributed as a Global Brand Director and Senior Product Manager in immunology. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Pharmacy from Uppsala University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics from Stockholm University.
