Danuta Marchi

Danuta Marchi has extensive experience in patient engagement, advocacy, and government affairs within the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Global Head of Patient Engagement & Advocacy at UCB since September 2021, Danuta Marchi previously held multiple leadership roles, including Global External Engagement Lead for Immuno-Dermatology and Rheumatology. Prior experience includes positions as Associate Director of Policy and Government Affairs for Europe at bluebird bio, Account Director at Edelman, and leadership roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb overseeing EFPIA relations and EU Alliance Development, as well as policy and advocacy for specialty care. Danuta Marchi began professional career in public policy at Biogen, serving as Manager for EU Public Policy & Government Affairs. Educational background includes a Master's degree in European Interdisciplinary Studies from the College of Europe and involvement with the European Values Network.
