Florian Clémençon

Global Development Supply Lead at UCB

Florian Clémençon has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, starting in 2006 as an Analytical Technician at Madrange, where they designed and implemented microbiological criteria. Florian then worked as a Validation Engineer Assistant at Ropack Pharma Solutions in 2007, focusing on protocol validation and updating cleaning matrices. Florian joined Ipsen in 2008 and held various roles, including Senior Clinical Supply Chain Coordinator, Clinical Supply Chain Coordinator, Manager Assistant Manufacturing of Clinical Batches, and Pharmacist Assistant. During these roles, they were responsible for clinical trial implementation, supply chain coordination, quality assurance, and project management. Florian also worked as the Head of Manufacturing and Quality Director Assistant, where they implemented Lean Six Sigma projects and automated indicators for batch release activities. Since 2019, Florian has been working at UCB as the Global Development Supply Lead, overseeing strategic supply and providing visibility on development plans and compound information.

Florian Clémençon obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Université de Limoges from 2002 to 2008. In addition, they hold two Engineer degrees in Process Engineering and Industrial Engineering from IMT Mines Albi, earned in 2007 and 2008 respectively. Florian also obtained a Lean Six Sigma: Green Belt certification from Ipsen in 2015.
