Raphaelle Beau Lejdstrom

Raphaelle Beau Lejdstrom PhD is a distinguished expert in epidemiology and biostatistics with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry and academia. Currently serving as the Global Medical Head of Integrated Evidence Generation at UCB since February 2019, Raphaelle leads evidence generation strategies for rare diseases and guides cross-functional teams in scientific planning for drug development. Previous roles include Senior Real World Evidence Expert at UCB, Senior Data Scientist at Roche, and Epidemiologist at Novartis, where expertise in real-world data analysis and pharmacoepidemiology was demonstrated. Additionally, Raphaelle is a lecturer at the Institute of Global Health, University of Geneva, focusing on quantitative methods in global health, and holds a PhD and MSc in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
