Teresa Soucy

Teresa Soucy is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in pharmacology and oncology research. Currently serving as the Head of In Vitro Pharmacology at UCB since August 2018, Teresa previously held senior positions at Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd as a Senior Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist II, where pivotal contributions were made to biochemistry studies related to cancer therapeutics. At Millennium Pharmaceuticals, leadership was demonstrated as a Senior Scientist I by guiding projects involving first-in-class drug development. Teresa began their career at ProScript Inc, contributing to the discovery of the proteasome inhibitor VELCADE®. Teresa holds a PhD in Applied Biology and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biotechnology, both from Dublin City University.
