Waqar Ali

Waqar Ali has extensive work experience in data analytics and data science. Waqar is currently working at UCB as a Senior Principal Scientist and Patient Data Analytics Lead. Prior to this, they worked at Roche as a Senior Data Scientist from June 2020 to September 2021. Waqar also served as a Senior Data Scientist at Sensyne Health from January 2019 to May 2020. Before that, they worked as a Data Scientist at Genomics plc from June 2015 to December 2018. Waqar started their career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford from October 2013 to June 2015 and then served as a Research Associate at Imperial College London from April 2011 to June 2013.

Waqar Ali completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) from 2001 to 2005. Waqar then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Oxford from 2006 to 2007. Following that, they obtained a Doctorate in Statistics from the University of Oxford from 2007 to 2011.
