Ravin Begaliev

Ravin Begaliev has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. They began their career at ROSSCOSMOS, where they worked as a mathematician engineer, undertaking scientific and project work. Their responsibilities included applying machine learning methods, processing experimental data, and working as a systems/business analyst. Later, they joined EY as a data science consultant, specifically in the Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) division. They then moved on to Sberbank, where they served as a data scientist. Following that, they worked at VTB as a project manager. Their next role was at MegaFon, where they held various positions, including product manager and product lead. Currently, Ravin is the Chief Data Officer at UCELL, a position they have held since 2023.

Ravin Begaliev obtained a Master's degree in Applied mathematics and physics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT) from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in the same field at MIPT from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications in various subjects, including product management, business metrics for data-driven companies, deep learning with PyTorch, neural networks and deep learning, blockchain technology, statistics, programming in Python, and high-performance computing. Ravin has received these certifications from institutions such as GoPractice, Inc, Duke University, Coursera, Stepik, and Moscow State University.
