David Yao

David Yao is a highly experienced urologist currently serving as an HS Clinical Assistant Professor at UCLA Health since July 2014, focusing on general adult urology with a particular interest in andrology. Prior to this, David completed a fellowship in Andrology, specializing in Male Infertility, Microsurgery, and Sexual Dysfunction at Kaiser Permanente from September 2011 to June 2014. David's clinical training includes a residency at Harvard Medical School's Urology Program from June 2006 to June 2011, affiliated with Brigham and Women’s Hospital. David holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Boston University School of Medicine and a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from The Johns Hopkins University. Recognition includes an award for Excellence in Teaching in the Surgical Clerkship and contributions to research publications related to prostate cancer diagnosis.
