Jennifer Carvajal

Jennifer Carvajal, MPH, CPXP, currently serves as Project Manager for Ambulatory Operational Patient Experience at UCLA Health since July 2023, and has experience as a Patient Advocate. Prior to this role, Jennifer worked at Cedars-Sinai from September 2015 to July 2023, holding positions as Prenatal Screening Program Coordinator and Community Health Education Intern for the Healthy Habits Program. Additional experience includes a role as a Patient Experience Advocate Volunteer at AHMC HealthCare and as a Graduate Research Fellow for the USDA Sanos y Fuertes Project at NCLR/CSULB Center for Latino Community Health. Jennifer also interned as a Patient Experience Project Intern at AltaMed Health Services and served as the Lead Certified Covered California Campus Coordinator for the CSU Health Insurance Education Project. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from UCLA and participation in a Summer Enrichment Program at Pomona College focusing on Sociology and Chicano Studies.
