Laura Adery

Laura Adery, PhD, is an experienced clinical psychologist currently serving as the Associate Clinical Director at the UCLA Center for Assessment and Prevention of Prodromal States (CAPPS) since January 2021. Responsibilities include providing clinical direction, assessment and treatment services, and training psychological interns and externs while engaging in community outreach. Prior roles at UCLA include Clinical Instructor and Postdoctoral Scholar at the UCLA PEERS Clinic, along with a Clinical Psychology Doctoral Internship focused on Adolescent Serious Mental Illness. Additional clinical experience encompasses work with various mental health programs and laboratories, alongside a strong educational background with a PhD and Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Vanderbilt University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan.
