Nicco Reggente

Nicco Reggente, PhD, is a prominent academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in cognitive neuroscience and consciousness research. Currently serving as a Lecturer at the University of California, Los Angeles, Nicco designs and delivers a comprehensive curriculum for the laboratory course on functional neuroimaging. As the Founder and Research Director of the Institute for Advanced Consciousness Studies, Nicco leads initiatives aimed at democratizing transformative experiences. Additionally, Nicco co-founded Strain Genie, a personalized cannabis recommendation platform, and was integral to the establishment of the Tiny Blue Dot Foundation, focusing on global consciousness research funding. Previous roles include Chief Science Advisor at Altar Virtual Technologies, CEO of Actual Investments LLC, and various positions at UCLA and New York University. Nicco holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from UCLA, as well as a Bachelor’s degree from New York University in Philosophy and Psychology.
