Victoria Vesna is an accomplished academic and director with extensive experience in the intersection of art and science. Since January 2005, Victoria has served as the Director of the UCLA Art|Sci Center, where responsibilities include organizing lectures, exhibitions, and residencies at the California NanoSystems Institute. As a Professor at UCLA since September 1999, Victoria teaches various Art Sci courses and engages in innovative collaborations. Victoria holds a visiting professorship at Interface Culture, University of Art & Industrial Design Linz since June 2017 and has contributed to other institutions, including City University of Hong Kong and Parsons the New School of Design. Victoria is also a long-standing member of Leonardo/ISAST and previously worked as an Associate Professor at UCSB. Victoria earned a Ph.D. in Interactive Art from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
