Valerie Tran

Valerie Tran has a diverse work experience starting from 2021. Valerie worked as a Financial Administration Assistant at UC Santa Barbara in October 2021. In 2022, Valerie served as a Financial Officer for the Associated Students of UC Santa Barbara. Valerie also participated in the 2022 Insight Series at Goldman Sachs. In the same year, Valerie became a member of the UCSB Undergraduate Accounting Society and volunteered as the Director of External Affairs for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance at UCSB. Valerie later took on the role of Vice President of External Affairs for the same organization. In 2023, Valerie worked as an SEC Financial Reporting Intern at Workiva. Additionally, Valerie held the position of President for the UCSB Undergraduate Accounting Society.

Valerie Tran attended Mira Mesa High School from 2017 to 2021. Valerie then studied at San Diego Miramar College from 2020 to 2021. Currently, Valerie is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Accounting at UC Santa Barbara, which they are expected to complete in 2025. In addition, Valerie obtained certification in Student Success Mentor Training from Mentor Collective in 2022.
