Marques Williams, CPHT, BSHA, currently serves as an inpatient pharmacy technician at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland and as a certified pharmacy technician at Alameda Health System. Since September 2016, Marques has also held a position as a compounding pharmacy technician at Golden Gate Pharmacy Inc. and has worked as a freelance pharmacy technician since August 2014. Previous experience includes an externship at Crescent Healthcare where knowledge of USP 797 and TPN mixing was gained, as well as an externship at Walgreens focused on prescription filling and patient interactions. Marques studied pharmacy technology at Carrington College while preparing for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam, and possesses a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix. Early career experience includes roles as a package handler at UPS and a public health worker for the City of Berkeley, where Marques designed and presented health education programs.
