Claire Umeda

Claire Umeda is a Senior Audiologist at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals, a position held since January 2024. Prior to this role, Claire served as a Pediatric Audiologist at Stanford Children's Health | Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford from June 2018 to December 2023, specializing in comprehensive pediatric diagnostics for patients aged 0-21 years and providing evaluations and programming for various hearing devices. Claire's clinical experience includes an Audiology Externship at the University of Virginia Health System from June 2017 to May 2018. Academically, Claire obtained a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 2018, having previously earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in audiology from UC Santa Barbara in 2014, and completed secondary education at Fremont High School in 2010.
