Primary Care Physician And Medical Director Of The Down Syndrome Clinic at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital

Noemi Alice Spinazzi, MD, FAAP is an Associate Professor and Assistant Clinical Professor in Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco since July 2016. Concurrently, Noemi serves as a Board Member for the National Down Syndrome Congress and as a Primary Care Physician and Medical Director of the Down Syndrome Clinic at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland since June 2012. Noemi holds a Fellow title with the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a co-founder of the Volunteer Alliance. Past volunteer efforts include serving as a Clinical volunteer at Hospital Bernard Mevs in Haiti and participation in the FASPE Medical Ethics Fellowship. Noemi's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Cell Biology and Anatomy and Psychology with a focus on Child Development from Boston University.
