Amanda Berglund

Amanda Berglund has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. Amanda is currently the Director of Finance at UCSF Benioff Children's Physicians, a position they have held since 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Finance at UCSF Affiliate Network from 2018 to 2022. Amanda also served as the Interim Director - Decision Support Strategy at UCSF Medical Center from 2018 to 2019. Before joining UCSF, Amanda worked as the COO/Partner at PACE Healthcare Consulting, LLC for 14 years from 2004 to 2018. Amanda also held managerial positions at St. Joseph Health and Tenet Healthcare. Amanda began their career as a Senior Consultant at Arthur Andersen and later worked as a Lead Consultant at Per-Se Technologies. Amanda has a background in finance, business development, operations, and consulting. Additionally, Amanda has experience in product management and international business strategy from their time at Lucent Technologies, where they worked on marketing strategies and financial models for global markets.

Amanda Berglund's education history begins with their obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia Engineering, which they pursued from 1991 to 1995. Amanda then went on to attend the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1996 to 1997, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Continuing their educational journey, Amanda enrolled at Nova Southeastern University from 1998 to 2000, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Entrepreneurial Leadership, along with a minor in Finance.
