Arelys Sanchez

Arelys Sanchez is a Registered Nurse with extensive experience in pediatric and neonatal care, currently serving as a PICU Bedside Nurse at UCSF Benioff Children's Physicians since April 2020. Prior to this role, Arelys worked as a Travel Registered Nurse from March 2018 to April 2020, gaining experience in multiple settings including the PICU, Neonatal ICU, Emergency Department, and Med-Surgical units across various hospitals in the U.S. Arelys’s nursing career began at Nicklaus Children's Health System, where responsibilities included providing care for critically ill children and adolescents as well as performing administrative tasks as a Registrar. Arelys holds a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing, a Bachelor of Science in Evolution and Ecology of Organismal Biology from The Ohio State University, and an Associate of Science in Biology from Miami Dade College.
