Ben Durie

Ben Durie is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in health care law. Currently serving as Principal Counsel at UCSF Health since February 2022, Ben previously held the position of Partner at Hooper, Lundy & Bookman from June 2012 to February 2022, where notable work included representation in nonprofit hospital transactions. Prior to that, Ben worked as a Health Care Law Associate at McDermott Will & Emery, contributing to major acquisitions such as the nearly $1.5 billion purchase of Detroit Medical Center. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Arizona's James E. Rogers College of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Political Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
