Meher Singh

Meher Singh has extensive experience in social work, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Social Work and Chief Clinical Social Worker at UCSF Medical Center since June 2008, where responsibilities include crisis intervention and counseling for patients in the General Medicine service. Prior roles include social worker positions at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center, and Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, with a focus on inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient mental health, and psychiatric care. Meher Singh's earlier experience involves internships in community mental health settings and a role as a Program Advocate at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, specializing in domestic violence and sexual assault support. Meher Singh holds a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
