Melody Ybona Gawliu

Melody Ybona Gawliu, CCRP, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in clinical research and community engagement. As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Over the Fog since 2011, Melody has been instrumental in promoting Asian American culture in Daly City and San Mateo County through community events like the Asian American Cultural Festival. Current roles include Public Relations Specialist at P.I. Wings, Data & Safety Monitoring Committee (DSMC) Monitor/Auditor Supervisor at UCSF Health, and organizer of the Bay Area Breast Cancer Forum at UCSF Medical Center at Mount Zion. Previous experience encompasses various positions at UCSF, including Clinical Research Coordinator for Breast Oncology and Clinical Research Supervisor, and significant roles in event management and community outreach. Melody holds a B.A. in Music Composition and Theory and Education from the University of California, Davis.
