Keith Benson

Keith Benson is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at UDR, a position held since May 2025. Prior to this role, Keith served as General Counsel for USD Group LLC and USD Partners GP LLC from March 2015 to May 2025, focusing on energy-related rail terminals and midstream infrastructure. Keith has extensive experience in capital markets and public company representation, having been a partner at Latham & Watkins LLP from July 2000 to March 2015, where engagement was primarily in the energy and REIT sectors. Keith holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Rutgers Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from The College of New Jersey.
