Rolf van Dawen has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving on the Advisory Board of Udrus and as an Advisor for Lumnion and free since 2020. Prior roles include Board Member and Actuary at LifeStyle Protection Versicherungen from 2011 to 2020, and Deputy General Manager at CiV Hayat Sigorta from 2008 to 2011, overseeing various departments. Rolf also held a Board Member position at magyar Posta Biztosito in 2006, contributing to significant operational improvements, and was the Head of the International Department at R+V Versicherung from 1999 to 2003, focusing on international collaborations. Earlier experience includes actuarial roles at Aachen Re and Frankona Re, along with responsibility for reinsurance marketing in diverse regions at R+V Re. Rolf holds a Diplom in Mathematics from the University of Bonn and has a robust educational background including training with the German Naval Forces.
