Alexandre Miguel further enhanced their knowledge in sports law and economics of sport by obtaining a Master International (e-learning) from ISDE Madrid in 2010.

Ultimately, Mestre achieved their highest educational qualification, a PhD in EU Sports Law, from Edge Hill University, which they pursued from 2007 to 2015.
