Christopher Gibbons

Christopher Gibbons has extensive work experience in event operations and logistics management. Christopher started their career in 1998 as a Production Manager at MTV Networks Germany GmbH before moving on to roles such as Accreditation Coordinator at SOBO - Sydney Olympic Broadcasting Organisation for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and Script Office Manager at Seven Network Limited. In 2002, they worked as a Venue Logistics Manager for the FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan. Christopher then joined OBS - OLYMPIC BROADCASTING SERVICES as a Broadcast Logistics Manager for the Athens 2004 Olympic Games. In 2004, they became a Logistics Manager for the FIFA World Cup Germany 2006 and later joined HBS as a Senior Venue Logistics Manager for the Doha Asian Games 2006. From 2007 to 2019, they worked for UEFA in various roles including Senior Logistics Manager and Chief of Event Operations, overseeing large teams and managing logistics for UEFA competitions. Christopher also worked as a Continuity Producer at Discovery Networks and as a Presentation Scheduler at MTV UK, Northern & Eastern Europe. Overall, Christopher's experience spans across various international events and sports organizations, demonstrating their expertise in event logistics and operations.

Christopher Gibbons obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Classics from the University of Cambridge, completing their education from 1990 to 1993.
