Ewa Szumowska

External Venue Operations And Broadcast Manager at UEFA

Ewa Szumowska has extensive work experience in various sports organizations and media outlets. Ewa began their career in 2013 as a Media Manager for the Polish Swimming Federation. In 2014, they joined UEFA as an External Venue Operations and Broadcast Manager, where they were responsible for managing broadcasting operations during UEFA events. During their time at UEFA, they also served as a Local Producer for CNN and coordinated sailing regattas for Tiga Yacht. In 2016, they worked as a Broadcast Liaison Officer for UEFA EURO 2016, coordinating and supervising unilateral services deliveries. Szumowska continued their involvement in international sporting events as a FIFA Media Officer for the FIFA World Cup in 2018 and will also be working in this role for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Ewa also held the role of Broadcast Liaison Officer for the UEFA EURO 2020 European Football Championship. Additionally, Szumowska worked in a coordinating role in the Grassroots Department at PZPN, organizing events such as the Tymbark Cup and U-13 and U-14 Friendly Matches. Overall, they have demonstrated their expertise in media management and event coordination within the sports industry.

Ewa Szumowska pursued their education in a sequential manner. Ewa first attended St. Patrick's College Drumcondra, where they focused on the field of study of Pedagogics. However, the duration of their enrollment at this institution, as well as any degrees earned, remain unknown. Later, from 2004 to 2009, Ewa enrolled at the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Education. Ewa successfully completed their degree with a MEd (Hons - 1st Class) in General Education and Media Education. Following this, Ewa continued their education at SGH Warsaw School of Economics from 2011 to 2012, undertaking a postgraduate degree in Public Relations and Internal Communication.
