Pierre Kosmidis

Pierre Kosmidis has extensive experience in media operations, media relations, and communications. Pierre'scurrent role is Expert on Media Operations, Media Relations, and Communications at GLG, where they serve as the UEFA Media Officer/Venue Media Manager since June 2015 and the Media and Communications Director at Super League Greece since September 2008. Pierre is responsible for increasing interest in football tournaments and maximizing media exposure.

Prior to their current positions, Kosmidis worked at UEFA as a Media Officer/Venue Media Manager from 2015 to the present, a Media Officer in 2017, and in various roles related to media operations for UEFA events. Pierre also served as the Venue Media Manager at the IAAF World Athletics Championships in Doha in 2019 and as the Media Relations Manager for the IAAF Doha Diamond League in 2016 and 2015.

Additionally, Kosmidis worked as a Journalist for Eleftheros Tipos newspaper from 2007 to 2015 and as a Media and Communications Manager for the 24th Men's Handball World Championship Organising Committee in 2014. Pierre has experience in drafting speeches, quotes, news stories, and media training workshops, as well as crisis communications. Kosmidis is known for their expertise in managing press conferences, setting up interviews, and drafting press releases for sports events.

From 1991 to 1996, Pierre Kosmidis pursued a Bachelor's degree in English & Greek Literature from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon. Additionally, in 1994, they briefly attended The Manchester Metropolitan University to study TV & Media Studies/English Literature, also earning a Bachelor's degree.
