Sara Holmgren

Sara Holmgren has a diverse work experience in various sports organizations. Sara worked at UEFA from 2013 to the present, holding positions such as Diversity and Inclusion Expert and Education and Diversity Programme Assistant. In these roles, they focused on developing educational programs and managing initiatives related to football management, women in football leadership, and promoting diversity. Sara also interned at UEFA as a National Associations Development Intern.

In 2016, Sara worked at UEFA EURO 2016 as a Guest Liaison Officer, where they ensured high-quality services for VIP guests during matches. Sara was responsible for logistical preparations and communication with national associations, governments, and the city of Nice.

Sara studied for a Master's degree in Sports Administration and Technology at AISTS in 2013. During this time, they gained knowledge in sports administration and management, as well as networking skills.

Prior to that, Sara volunteered for the Swedish University Sports Federation from 2010 to 2013. Sara served as a delegate or part of the organizing committee at various sports events and represented the federation at educational forums. Their responsibilities included VIP management and delegation roles at international sports competitions.

Additionally, Sara worked as a salesperson at Gå och löpkliniken in 2012.

Sara Holmgren pursued their Bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine from Umeå University, which they completed between 2009 and 2012. In addition to their formal education, Sara earned the Certificat Système Européen de Transfert de Crédits/European Credit Transfer System from the Centre International d'Antibes in August 2011. Sara also obtained the Cambridge ESOL Level 2 Certificate in ESOL International from the University of Cambridge in June 2009.
