Zoran Bahtijarević

Zoran Bahtijarević has extensive work experience in the field of medicine, particularly in sports medicine and pediatric surgery. Zoran currently holds multiple positions at UEFA, including Chief Medical Officer / Head of Medical Unit, Deputy Chairman of the UEFA Medical Committee, UEFA Protocol Advisory Panel Chairman, and UEFA Chief Medical Officer/Advisor. Zoran has been actively involved with UEFA since at least 2017 when they served as the 3rd Vice President of the UEFA Medical Committee. Additionally, Zoran Bahtijarević has held leadership positions in various medical organizations, such as being the President of the Croatian Society of Pediatric Surgery and the World Federation of Associations of Pediatric Surgeons (WOFAPS) Foundation. In terms of their clinical experience, Zoran Bahtijarević has served as the Team Doctor for the Croatian National Football Team since 2002 and holds a role as a Pediatric Surgeon at the Children's Hospital Zagreb, where they previously served as the Chief of OR and Central Sterilization and CEO.

Zoran Bahtijarević began their education journey in 1978 at V gimnazija Zagreb, where they completed their secondary education.
