Daniel J. Taverne is a seasoned professional in security management and program development, currently serving as the Physical Security Manager at UF Health since June 2024. Previously, Daniel held the position of Chief New Program Development Officer at Galen Mental Health, where responsibilities included managing the startup of outpatient and tele-psychiatry programs. Daniel's extensive experience spans leadership roles at various healthcare institutions, including serving as Sr. Director of New Program Development at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital and Director of Safety and Security at AdventHealth, where Daniel implemented significant enhancements to security operations. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in International Security & Intelligence Studies from Bellevue University and a Certificate in Cybersecurity from Harvard University.
