Jeffrey S. West

Jeffrey S. West is an accomplished healthcare executive with over 20 years of expertise in managed care and value-based contracting. Currently serving as System Vice President of Managed Care at UF Health since January 2021, Jeffrey has a robust background in negotiating payer agreements for diverse provider organizations and has held senior leadership roles at multiple health systems, including USC Sol Price School of Public Policy as an adjunct professor, Lehigh Valley Health Network as Vice President of Insurance Services, and Ochsner Health System as Director of Managed Care. Jeffrey's experience encompasses the development of sustainable payer strategies, advanced reimbursement methodologies, and managing provider networks, along with a strong academic foundation, holding a Master's in Healthcare Administration from USC and a Bachelor's in Finance from Appalachian State University.
