Morgan Gilbert Dnp

Morgan Gilbert DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC, currently serves as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the Pediatric Rheumatology and Immunology Division at UF Health Shands Children's Hospital since December 2020. With extensive experience in pediatric nursing, Morgan previously worked at UPMC Center for Emergency Medicine as a CPR Instructor and completed clinical rotations at the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Nursing, focusing on various pediatric areas. Additionally, Morgan held roles at UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside Hospital as a Senior Professional Staff Nurse in the Medical ICU and participated in professional practice development initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida. Morgan's commitment to nursing education and practice is evident through leadership roles such as Academic Affairs Committee Chair at the University of Florida and multiple instructional positions throughout the nursing career.
