Mauricio Lara

Mauricio Lara is a current student at the University of Florida, pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science, with an expected graduation date in May 2025. Experience includes serving as Social Media Marketing Manager for both the UF Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers and UF Adelante, where notable accomplishments include creating graphics and managing social media profiles, as well as organizing events in collaboration with other programs. Additionally, Lara functions as a Mathematics Tutor at Knack, providing certified tutoring services, and has mentored first-year, first-generation students through the UF First Generation Leadership Program. Currently, Lara is also involved with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund.
