Facilitation Coach at UFacilitate

Ana Lucia Castaño Galvis is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in socio-environmental regeneration, facilitation, and education. As a co-founder of Arare since February 2017, Ana Lucia has been instrumental in supporting participatory transformation in various communities. In the role of Facilitation Coach at UFacilitate, Ana Lucia trains leaders to enhance their facilitation skills. Ana Lucia has also served as a professor at the University of the Environment since August 2021 and previously coordinated the BA in Entrepreneurship and Socioenvironmental Projects from January 2018 to May 2021. Additional experience includes roles at Taller Nuevos Territorios, the Colombian Agriculture and Livestock Research Corporation, and various educational and research initiatives. Ana Lucia holds a Master’s degree in Agroecology and Sustainable Agriculture from Universidad del Medio Ambiente and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Universidad de Los Andes.
