Jen Phelps

Jen Phelps has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Their most recent role was as a Filing Analyst II at UFG Insurance, where they were responsible for submitting insurance products for approval while ensuring consistent and efficient filing processes. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Analyst at the same company, where they played a vital role in developing and updating insurance products to drive profitability and seize market opportunities. Additionally, Jen also served as an Underwriting Coordinator at UFG Insurance.

Before joining UFG Insurance, Jen worked at hibu, where they held the positions of Preliminary Pages Coordinator and Book Closing Specialist, demonstrating their versatility and adaptability in different roles and responsibilities.

Jen Phelps attended the University of Iowa from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies and English. In addition, they obtained several certifications from various institutions. These include the Associate in Commercial Underwriting - Management (AU-M) certification from The Institutes in July 2019, the Associate in Underwriting (AU) certification from The Institutes in December 2017, the Associate in General Insurance (AINS) certification from The Institutes in March 2017, the Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) certification from The Institutes in March 2017, and the ACT National Gold Certification in National Career Readiness from ACT in February 2009.
