Katlyn Kosla

Katlyn Kosla has over 15 years of work experience in various industries. Katlyn started their career as an Office Assistant at Schaumburg High School in 2005 and worked there until 2006. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as a Sales Associate at Journeys, where they gained valuable customer service experience. Katlyn then joined TotalMed IT in 2011, working as a HIT Personnel Consultant from September 2011 to March 2012, and as a Business Development Manager from March 2012 to October 2012. In 2013, they joined Transamerica Life Insurance Company as a Team Advisor and worked there until 2016. Since October 2016, Katlyn has been working as a Senior Commercial Underwriter at United Fire Group.

Katlyn Kosla attended Schaumburg High School from 2003 to 2007. After completing high school, they pursued higher education at Western Illinois University from 2007 to 2011. During their time at the university, Katlyn earned a Bachelor of Business degree with a focus on Management.

In addition to their formal education, Katlyn also obtained several certifications. In December 2017, they achieved the Associate in General Insurance (AINS) certification from The Institutes. Katlyn further enhanced their knowledge and skills by obtaining the Associate in Commercial Underwriting - Management (AU-M) certification from The Institutes in December 2019. Most recently, in March 2021, Katlyn obtained the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) certification from The Institutes.
