Tim Moynihan

Tim Moynihan currently serves as the AVP and Commercial Lines Leader for the Southeast region at UFG Insurance, starting in January 2024. Previously, Tim held the position of Commercial Director at CNA Insurance from June 2012 to January 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing underwriting and operational efficiency in Alabama and Georgia. Prior to that, Tim worked as a Communications Training Officer for the City of Hoover from October 2005 to June 2012, focusing on training new employees and managing emergency response communications. Tim's military experience includes serving as a Sergeant (E5) with the 81st Regional Readiness Command (USAR) from April 2003 to April 2005, assisting in personnel allocation for unit deployments during Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. Tim earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is certified in Construction Insurance from IRMI.
