Zion Shen

Zion Shen has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Zion started their career at Cadence Design Systems as a Senior Technical Staff from 2003 to 2007. Zion then co-founded Noahnav, a Silicon Valley startup focused on GPS tracking technology, where they served as a Co-founder and Marketing VP from 2007 to 2008. After this, they co-founded AO Narrowcast, an organization specializing in digital signage, where they worked as a Cofounder and COO for a brief period in 2008. In the same year, they became the CEO and Founder of Ufrate, a high-tech incubator bridging US and Chinese markets. Zion also held the position of Founder and President in Ufrate Inc., with branches located in the US and China.

Further in their career, they became an Investor and Board Member of several technology companies including Lotos technology, Union Reservoir Lab, cyberPulse Inc., doobuy, and Jiujie technolog from 2013 onwards. In 2013, they also founded eBranding Inc. and served as the Founder and President. In 2014, they became a Founding Partner of Zhejiang Investment LLC, Zoom Venture Partners LLC, and Vision Capital Management LLC, demonstrating their involvement in investment and venture capital activities.

Additionally, Zion Shen co-founded XZ Diabetes Inc. in 2014, where they held the position of Co-founder and Co-CEO. The company offered innovative solutions to cure type II diabetes and raised significant funding. During the same period, they worked as an MBA Graduate School Adviser at Zhejiang University, guiding students in innovation and startup activities. Zion also founded Zhejiang University-Silicon Valley Venture Labs and mentored more than 50 students in the past three years.

Zion Shen's education history starts in 1995 when they enrolled in Tsinghua University. Zion pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and completed their studies in the year 2000. After that, they joined Iowa State University in 2000 and studied Industrial Engineering/Technology for a year. Following this, they continued their education at Iowa State University for a PhD in Computer Engineering, which they obtained in 2003.
