Irene Kourkoumelis Zajac

Irene Kourkoumelis Zajac is currently serving as the UFT Teacher Center District Coach at the UFT Teacher Center since August 2023. With a background in education and coaching, Irene has held roles such as Certified Integrative Health Coach at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and Staff Developer at the NYC Department of Education. Previously, Irene was an Instructional Coach/Technology Administrator at PS 222Q and a UFT Teacher Center Specialist at the UFT Teacher Center. Irene holds a Master of Education in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language, an Advanced Diploma in Educational Administration and Supervision, and a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Psychology.
